CERTIFICATE MAKER - replaces the Publisher mail merge
=====================================================

INSTALL
Copy "Certificate Maker.exe" to the computer (e.g. into Documents),
right-click it > Show more options > Send to > Desktop (create shortcut).
Nothing else needs installing. If Windows SmartScreen warns the first time,
click "More info" > "Run anyway".

USE
  1. Background frame: Browse to the frame PDF for the programme
     (e.g. "Frame SKILLS PROGRAMME CERTIFICATE.pdf").
  2. Learner list: Browse to the Excel file and pick the worksheet.
First row must have the headings: Surname, Name, ID Number, Assessor.
Every other column (except Group) is printed as a unit standard,
so add or remove unit-standard columns as needed.
  3. Check Head of Training, Date of Issue and Accreditation No.
  4. Click a learner to see the preview on the right.
  5. Click "One PDF (for printing)" to make all certificates in one file,
or "Separate PDF per learner" for one file each (named Surname Name.pdf).
Tick "Selected learners only" to reprint just a few.

The app remembers the files and names you used last time.

NOTES
  - Close the Excel file before loading it if Excel says it is in use.
  - Print at "Actual size" (not "Fit") so the layout matches the frame.
